Day Twenty Six

October Game, Day 26.

I consider this a failure. I spent most of the day with my head full of cobwebs, and started on this drawing at work later in the afternoon. I then decided that I hated it and cast it aside to draw something else, but I never managed to draw anything else.

I told myself that after work and stuff, I'd draw something in Photoshop or do another vector piece, but I couldn't even bring myself to do that.

So, despite being unfinished pencils, despite having accidentally spilled some sweet and sour sauce on it, I scanned this thing. Originally, I was going to just type a bunch of shit out over top of it, pointing out the sauce stains, explaining how I felt and why I was unable to draw anything worth shit today, blah blah blah, but when I boosted the contrast on the scan, it took on this weird, creepy quality all its own.

So. Today is technically a failure, since this is just a crappy pencil drawing. But it's also...I wouldn't say a success, but at least it's interesting with the paper texture and all? I don't know.
